Premium shipboard internal-combustion engine oils for marine trunk-piston diesel engines using high-sulphur diesel fuel and high-output shipboard main propulsion. Manufactured from highly refined, high-viscosity-index paraffinic base oils.
An effective detergent-dispersant package prevents piston lacquering and ring sticking and controls deposits; rust and oxidation inhibitors protect engine and lubricant; alkaline reserves neutralise acids from fuel-combustion by-products.
A multifunctional product that can lubricate the main propulsion engine of landing craft, diesel generators or air compressors. The high base number (12.5 mg KOH/g) assures adequate protection with the relatively high sulphur levels frequently experienced in marine fuels.
